Job Summary:

You are a Wireless Foreman with wireless experience, directly supporting field teams and interfacing with the client. Working with team, you will execute the project plans and schedules to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will manage quality control, including reviewing and managing project performance, while simultaneously ensuring safety, and delegating work to field staff and contractors.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily general construction of Wireless Sites (focus on Small Cells/DAS)
  • Ensure Ledcor Safety and Quality Control Guidelines
  • Lead and coach a team of 2-5 wireless techs/linemen
  • Read, interpret, and implement project Plans, Scopes of Work (SOWs), and Construction Drawings (CDs), Specifications
  • SOW to include, but not limited to: installation and testing of wireless equipment, fiber, and antenna systems mounted on various elevated structures, basic electrical wiring; civil work and coordination: site preparation, excavation, foundations, pole sets, access road/compound (grading, gravel, fencing etc), other.
  • Provide daily progress reporting to management
  • Create, evaluate, review and submit closeout packages
  • Maintain paperwork, equipment, tools, materials, and vehicles assigned
  • Provide leadership and learning opportunities to crew members
  • Operate equipment to include trucks with trailers, power tools, and non-powered tools.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading wireless crews
  • Connector Certifications (Andrew/CommScope, JMA/PPC, RFS)
  • Sweep & PIM Certifications
  • Working knowledge of cell sites/base stations and components
  • Basic Aerial Placement desired
  • Fall Protection & Rescue Training desired
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • First Aid & CPR Training
  • Clean driving record with valid driver’s license, CDL is a plus
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and administrative skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel on a routine basis
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug & alcohol screenings
  • RF Safety and Awareness Training is a plus
