Job Summary:

You are an experienced administrative professional with a keen eye for details, familiarity with concrete deadlines, and strong communication skills. As the Training Coordinator, you will be a key member of the Ledcor Summit Air Training team, where you will be responsible for assisting in ensuring training documentation is up to date for both new and existing employees and in adherence with government regulations.

Essential Responsibilities

  • In cooperation with the Training Administrator, Department Heads and Managers, develops training syllabus and training program content for Summit Air
  • Delivers applicable components of training
  • Prepares training summary reports and actions required training items
  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of training records
  • Assist with audit cycles and corrective actions
  • Supporting new hire orientation and help set up new employees
  • May perform other related duties as assigned                

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of administrative experience required
  • Candidates with experience in the aviation industry
  • Knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations and Standards is an asset
  • Ability to learn new software quickly and independently
  • Highly analytical with strong Administration skills
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Ability to handle a high-volume workload with concrete deadlines
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate urgency
  • Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Successful applicant must complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

Work Conditions

  • Must be local to or willing to relocate to Yellowknife, NT, accommodations are not provided
