Job Summary:

You are a qualified, safety minded, Helicopter looking to join the team at Summit Helicopters. This opportunity will provide term coverage during our high season as a wildfire helicopter support AME and/or drill helicopter support AME., working a flexible 20 day on, 10 day off schedule. There may be opportunities to move into a full-time pool positions for excellent performers.

You have hold Bell 412 and/or Bell 407 AME endorsement. Proven experience maintaining Bell 412 and or 407 helicopters. This role would be positioned dependent on operational need and preference to persons living in western Canada will be given.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all Summit Helicopters Safety and Operational policies, procedures and software systems
  • Maintain aircraft safely and efficiently
  • Plan work, prepare aircraft and auxiliary equipment as required
  • Represent Company with professional and can-do attitude

Qualifications

  • Current Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence
  • Bell 412 endorsement, and/or
  • Bell 407 AME endorsement
  • Collaborative, independent and professional attitude required
  • Strong focus on client service required

Work Conditions

  • Great Day Rate (training days are full rate; travel days are half);
  • $50 per diems;
  • 2-hour minimum on wildfire spec;
  • 4-hour minimum on drill job;
  • Paid travel from nearest agreed airport;
  • Guaranteed days of work for those who qualify.
