Job Summary:

You are an experienced Crew Scheduler or Travel Coordinator, with administrative skills and a background in aviation or transportation. Your ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and solving problems on the fly will see you excel in this role. As the Crew Travel Coordinator, you will be responsible for booking flights, hotels, and rental cars for upcoming rotations and training that occurs away from base. In addition, you will track and input flight crew duty assignments into the flight operations system and confirm all crew legal requirements are met for upcoming flights. You will be coordinating with the Operational Control Center (OCC) for any crewing requirements and Irregular operations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and communicate crew change schedules for rotations with clients and ensure all aspects of the monthly crew schedule is developed and maintained accurately
  • Ensure proper paperwork and information is provided to crews for first time rotations
  • Schedule training items
  • Allocate travel and schedule crew on trips as required
  • Ensure hotels and car rentals are booked for away from base trips as required
  • Assist with Irregular operations coordination
  • Assist with Crew scheduling duties
  • Ensure Flight Operations System is updated with all crew duty and travel information

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a crew scheduling, planning and/or dispatch role highly preferred
  • Strong administrative background required
  • Related education or training would be an asset
  • Familiarity with Transport Canada and Canadian Aviation Regulations an asset
  • Strong computer skills, particularly MS Excel
  • Analytical and organized, with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high volume work environment
  • Proven communication skills to ensure effective and timely flow of information
  • Successful applicants must complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

Position is based in Yellowknife, NT

Shift: Mon.-Fri., 8AM-5PM
