Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responds to the Service Center tickets from employees, HR, or managers related to US benefits and absence programs, policies and procedures.
  • Administers weekly 401k remittance and monthly benefits remittances such as Medical/Dental admin fee, Vision, Life, LTD, Optional Life
  • Performs benefits and absences reconciliations on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • Prepares quarterly status reports for Business HR
  • Performs Workday Benefits and Absence partner roles
  • Contributes to Workday benefits and absence module maintenance
  • Assists with setup and revision of new benefit groups or plans by testing, reconciling, and documenting
  • Builds and manages effective partnerships with peers within the HR department and along with other stakeholders
  • facilitate benefits payments/continuation for employees on leaves
  • Supports Benefits Manager and Benefits Specialist with activities such as Open Enrollment, 401k audit and employee communication

Qualifications:

  • One to three years of experience as HR Coordinator and/or Benefits Coordinator or in a similar administrative-level HR role
  • Prior experience administering multiple benefit plans
  • Diploma, degree and/or certificate in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent
  • Strong MS Office skills, with advanced Excel
  • Experience using an HRIS/ERP system
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with personal data
