Job Summary:

You are a driven and detail-oriented individual looking to build your experience in Accounts Payable within a large, complex corporate environment. Utilizing your exceptional attention to detail and strong leadership skills, you will be responsible for monitoring and overseeing the accurate and timely entry of data, as well as reporting within the company financial systems.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of professionals, ensuring operational requirements are met
  • Manage the training and onboarding process for members of the accounts payable team and assist with team hiring as required
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly reporting related to the workforce and develop processes and procedures to identify anomalies
  • Review supplier invoices for valid coding and approvals, and follow up with project teams as required
  • Manage escalations of internal and external accounts payable inquiries
  • Assist with the process of time entry information such as processing payrolls and Records of Employment (ROEs)
  • Collaborate with business units to troubleshoot and find solutions to accounts payable issues

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in a full cycle in house role, with 2+ years of proven leadership experience
  • Completion of post-secondary education in accounting or business
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, and ability to quickly learn new software
  • Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organized, with an ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, combined with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Work Conditions

  • Remote worksite rotational shift - 15/3 or 10/4 schedule typical. Travel and accommodations provided. Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol required
