Job Summary:

You are a safety driven Corrosion Surveyor with experience working on pipeline maintenance projects. You will be performing various maintenance and light construction activities relating to the pipelines.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Drives company vehicle to various geographic locations to conduct pipeline corrosion control tasks
  • Works on projects such as retrofits, modifications, repair or replacement, new installation, diagnostic testing, annual surveys, data processing, and equipment repair 
  • Conducts pipeline test lead surveys
  • Locates and stakes pipelines
  • Operates and maintains a variety of equipment to meet operational needs while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory requirements


  • Must have a minimum of three years experience in the Cathodic Protection industry with knowledge on pipeline survey and rectifiers
  • NACE CP1 Certification, Energy Safety Canada or Enform rectifier training and AIT Level 1 Training are highly desirable
  • Must have a strong safety mindset
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing  
  • Must possess and maintain a clean driver’s abstract and valid driver's license appropriate to the requirements of the vehicle being driven
  • Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks and walk 5-10km per day.

Work Conditions

  • Applicants that reside in the Edmonton, AB area will be given preference due to the location of this project
  • Modified work schedule of every second Friday off, working 9-10 hours per day
  • Benefits provided by CLAC
  • Working outdoors in various conditions of weather
