You are a safety-conscious Class 1 Winch Truck Driver with previous driving experience. You will be working with our Highway Construction crew on various projects throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan. You are a team player who ensures the well-being of others and lends a hand where needed.

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Operate Winch truck and utilize various trailers safely and efficiently 
  • Operate distributer trailer for application of tack oil 
  • Perform regular maintenance on truck and trailers and maintain good housekeeping  



  • Previous experience as Truck Driver, including Winch trucks 
  • Must possess a valid class 1 driver's license and provide a clean driver’s abstract 
  • Previous experience hauling equipment, preferably in a highway construction setting 
  • Experience with oil distribution trailer
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing   
  • Ability to incorporate health and safety concepts into work activities  
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision 
  • Have good communication skills and an ability to work as a team 


Work Conditions: 

  • This position is likely to run from May to November 2021 
  • Candidates must be flexible to work on projects throughout central/northern Alberta 
  • 6/1 shift rotation working 10-14 hours per day. Candidates must be flexible regarding their shift schedule 
  • Living out allowance of $130.00 per day is provided 
  • Benefits provided by CLAC  
  • Camp area with hookups provided for those with an RV or trailer
