Project Coordinator - Entry Level

Job Summary:

You are an aspiring Project Coordinator who under moderate guidance, provides technical and/or management support and assists operations staff in the implementation of project and divisional management plans to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. You are a team player and willing to learn the business to support Ledcor Technical Services.

Essential Responsibilities

• Supports the contract management process through the tendering and awarding of work or supply materials; assistance with the review and processing of invoices and progress claims, and assistance with the review of documents and inquiries
• Assists with the change order process by securing pricing from the vendor/subcontractor, reviewing and inputting the data and submitting the change request to the owner/consultant for approval.  Administers the change management process accordingly
• Facilitates the tracking of project milestones and financial deadlines; assistance with the creation of the project schedule; inputs and updates schedule throughout the project and reviews with Project Manager/Superintendent
• Facilitates the review and distribution of drawings by following up with the trades/consultants; maintains the drawing log and drawing/sample transmittal's
• Coordinates the request for information (RFI) process, ensures RFIs are distributed to affected trades and maintains RFI logs and binders

Qualifications

• Ability to work in-person from our Elmhurst office at least 75% of the time
• Desire to work on fast-paced projects
• Strong computer background, including experience with Excel
• Detailed and accurate administrative and organizational abilities
• Ability to collaborate with diverse audiences and take direction
