Job Summary:

You're an experienced Facilities Technician, who performs planned maintenance and corrective operational work, routine administrative, janitorial, and additional duties as assigned. As a Facilities Technician, you’ll apply your mechanical and technical skills to keep natural gas compressor stations, measurement stations, and pipeline sites running smoothly. You will be the main point of contact for the facility in the Mascouche, QC area.

Ledcor Pipeline is based out of Edmonton, AB, but for this position, you will be providing services to our clients in Eastern Canada.

Vous êtes un travailleur qualifié et avez de l’expérience en entretien d’installations, travaux correctifs, conciergerie ou autre. Comme technicien responsables des installations, vos aptitudes techniques et mécaniques seront mises à l’épreuve pour s’assurer que les diverses installations de compression de gaz naturel, station de mesurage et autres sites soient en parfaite condition. Vous serez aussi le point de contact pour le bureau de Mascouche.

Essential Responsibilities 

  • Ensure facilities comply with established health, safety, environment and risk standards;
  • General site maintenance including: garbage removal, snow plowing, leak checks, etc.
  • Perform monthly and annual preventive maintenance and inspections on site equipment;
  • Perform routine pipeline, gas measurement and compression maintenance activities as required;
  • Understand emergency management, preparedness and response procedures for work locations;
  • Perform basic maintenance such as installing building signage and repairing fences
  • Perform basic additional duties such as routine administration, clerical duties, janitorial, etc.

 
Qualifications

  • 1-2 years related experience
  • Technical diploma apprenticeship would be considered an asset
  • Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license, with a clear 3-year driver's abstract
  • Ability to complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Proven electrical and mechanical aptitude
  • Trained/experienced in SAP Scheduling would be an asset
  • Previous experience in the pipeline or natural gas industry would be an asset
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be bilingual
  • Must have the ability to complete tasks and assignments in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
  • Able to travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings and training involving overnight stays away from home

Work Conditions

  • Candidates local to the Mascouche, QC area will be given preference due to the location of work.
  • Travel to other Facilities may be required

Responsabilités Principales

  • S’assurer que les installations répondent aux critères de santé, sécurité et environnement.
  • Maintenance générale incluant : maintenance d’immeubles, déneigement, clôtures, signalisation, peintures etc.
  • Inspection préventive mensuel et annuel sur divers bâtiments,
  • Travaux routiniers sur les gazoducs, équipements de compressions et équipement de mesurage
  • Comprendre les mesures d’urgence associé a chaque site


Qualifications

  • 1-2 ans d’expériences
  • DEP ou DEC dans un métier manuel
  • Permis de conduire classe 5 valide avec excellent dossier de conducteur (3 ans)
  • Apte a réussir un test pré-embauche de dépistage de drogues et alcool
  • Très autonome dans divers types de travaux manuels
  • Aptitude forte en analyse et diagnostique
  • Expérience avec l’environnement SAP
  • Expérience en industrie pétrochimique préférable
  • Communique efficacement
  • Bilingue
  • Capacité de voyager et de dormir à l’extérieur de la maison pour de courte périodes occasionnel

Conditions

  • Le bureau est situé a Mascouche.  Les candidatures provenant du Québec seront favorisée
  • Du déplacement est requis quotidiennement pour accéder à diverses installations au Québec
