Job Summary:

This is your opportunity to join this landmark project and play a key role in its success. You are an experienced and motivated Materials Coordinator, who will use your strong attention to detail to monitor stringing activities, complete material inspections and quality control duties.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Read and understand specification requirements for the related piping and construction activities
  • Communicate the requirements of the ITP’s ( Inspection & Test Plans), code requirements and client specifications to the craft personnel
  • Identify Non-conformances to the Project QA/QC supervisor
  • Ensure Quality Records are maintained for System turnover
  • Maintain a Heat Number Tracking Log as well as an inventory of materials received
  • May perform other duties as required

Qualifications

  • 2+ years related work experience
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, and ability to quickly learn new software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, combined with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to explain difficult information clearly and influence others towards consensus agreement in straightforward situations
  • Able to identify problems/issues and generates solutions and makes sound decisions using standard procedures
  • Capable of probing and listening carefully, presenting information clearly in an appropriate style and persuading others in straightforward situations
  • Willing to contribute actively in team activities, sharing experiences and ideas

Work Conditions

  • Site based position - 6 days on, 1 day off
  • Camp based position
