Job Summary:

You are a Foreperson with Industrial Piping experience seeking a great wage, extensive benefits, and a company who prides themselves on safety. You have previously led crews on industrial shutdown projects.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates ability to manage resources, equipment, and labour in order to forecast work planning needs and requirements
  • Tracking quality of work performed
  • Inspects equipment regularly and ensures preventative maintenance schedules are followed
  • Ensures the safety of the crew, equipment, and environment
  • Ensures that work is completed during regular hours


  • Must possess two years’ experience in as a Foreperson, preferably in an Industrial Piping environment
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Must have previous experience in a tailings or industrial construction environment
  • Must possess valid CSTS 2020 (Construction Safety Training Systems) certification and OSSA Regional Orientation or Basic Safety Orientation certificate (BSO)
  • Must possess and maintain a clean driver’s abstract and a valid class 5 driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, work at heights, be agile and able to go on/off equipment

Work Conditions

  • Applicants who reside in Fort McMurray will be given preference due to the location of the project
  • Camp and travel is not provided for this project
  • 14/7 shift rotation, working 10-12 hours per day
  • Project to commence in Aug 2021, lasting 5-6 weeks with potential to transfer to other Ledcor projects
  • Benefits provided by CLAC
  • Work will be outdoors in rough terrain and under extreme weather conditions
