Job Summary:

You are an experienced Financial Analyst – who will assist in providing reporting and analysis to support field operations by providing key suggestions for improvement. You will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting duties such as compiling divisional reports, financial analysis, annual operational budgets, monthly forecasts and account reconciliations.

Essential Responsibilities           

  • Prepares and analyzes operational metrics
  • Assists with financial and data analysis and reporting
  • Conducts month-end close procedures for field operations
  • Prepares all month-end of journal entries by compiling, analyzing, and substantiating financial transactions as needed
  • Prepares annual operational budgets and rolling monthly forecasts
  • Works with the business to research, track and resolve accounting problems.  Utilize diverse technical skills including Microsoft Office to complete tasks and make the process more efficient


  • Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience with full cycle accounting or financial analysis
  • Post-secondary degree or comparable education (ideally within finance and/or accounting)
  • Experience with a large ERP system - (experience with JD Edwards would be an asset)
  • High level of proficiency in the use of Excel for data analysis and financial information reporting
  • Must possess the ability to perform detail-oriented work, manage multiple competing priorities and work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills which are essential for interacting with all levels of the organization
