Job Summary:

You are a Heavy Civil Construction Foreman with supervisory experience on earthworks projects. You will lead crews as part of facility installation, pipeline corridor construction, piling installation, MSE Wall Construction and Ramp & Road construction projects. For you, safety and quality are a priority and you are proud of your work at the end of each day.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Supervise a crew of equipment operators and labourers performing earthworks support for foundations, road building, and underground piping
• Interface with the client and other contractors on site
• Ensure the safety of the crew, equipment, and environment
• Ensure that work is completed during regular hours

Qualifications:

• Must have previous experience supervising earthworks crews on heavy civil construction projects
• Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
• Must have a valid Class 5 Driver's license and clean 3-year driver's abstract
• Must possess valid CSTS 2020, First Aid, WHIMIS, Ground Disturbance, H2S, and Wildlife Awareness certifications (training may be provided)

Work Conditions:

• 14/7 shift schedule working 10-12 hours per day
• Site based camp provided
• Charter Flights provided from either Edmonton or Calgary, or travel allowance provided for candidates outside of Alberta
• Benefits provided by CLAC
• Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
