Job Summary:

You are an experienced Financial Analyst – who will assist in providing reporting and analysis to support field operations by providing key suggestions for improvement. You will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting duties such as compiling divisional reports, financial analysis, annual operational budgets, monthly forecasts and account reconciliations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and analyzes operational metrics
  • Assists with financial and data analysis and reporting
  • Oversee the timely generation of client invoices.
  • Conducts month-end close procedures for field operations
  • Prepares all month-end of journal entries
  • Prepares annual operational budgets, rolling monthly forecasts and variance analyses
  • Works with the business to research, track and resolve accounting problems.
  •  Utilizes diverse technical skills including Microsoft Office to complete tasks and make processes more efficient
  • Ensures internal control of project costing and maintains contract documents

Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of experience with full cycle accounting and/or financial analysis.
  • Experience within commercial construction, Telecom, or a related industry
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards or similar large ERP system
  • Strong MS Office skills in Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Able to multi-task, maintain organization, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to commit to continuous improvement and excellent customer service
  • Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Must be proactive, self-motivated, problem solver and results oriented person
