You are a Skilled Labourer with experience in pipeline maintenance work. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team working on tasks such as Building hoarding, setting up pumps, hand excavation, setting up fences using hand tools, and small machines. Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks on the labour crew to support pipeline maintenance operations
  • Under supervision, will assist with isolation and gas  handling activities including blowing down, purging, and pressuring pipelines 
  • Operate company truck, ATV, or side-by-side to perform operations and maintenance duties
  • Must be flexible with duties to support project requirements

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of labour experience (ideally within pipeline maintenance scope)
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Must have and maintain a class 5 driver’s license and clean driver's abstract
  • Willing to obtain necessary safety certifications such as H2S Alive, CSTS, ATV Training (paid for by the company)

Work Conditions:

  • Project based in various locations across Alberta but will meet in Spruce Grove, AB
  • Monday to Friday (9 hours per day) with every second Friday off
  • Position will require frequent out of town stays, possibility of weekend work, and travel more than 50% of the time
  • Benefits provided by CLAC
  • Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
