Job Summary:

You are an experienced administrative professional with a strong background in records management. As a Document Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for the control, organization, updating, distribution and maintenance of all documents in accordance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Upload, organize, track and maintain documentation in both electronic and paper format
  • Evaluate accuracy and completeness of all document change requests
  • Coordinate the process for creating and amending documents with technical experts
  • Review documents against set criteria and company standards
  • Submit finalized documents to compliance for a review and acceptance
  • Coordinate with department heads, managers and training department to distribute changes
  • Manage document processes and systems to ensure control and availability of documentation to personnel


  • 3 plus years of experience in progressively responsible records retention and document control roles
  • Ability to work independently and remotely by managing priorities appropriately
  • Tech savvy individual with strong computer skills and significant experience with MS Office
  • Experience with SharePoint or a similar document management system an asset
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Above-average attention to detail, with the ability to produce an accurate finished product
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, anticipate and deliver to tight deadlines, and manage high volumes of work
