Job Summary:

You are an Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for keying in information in our data capture program for our Fleet Inspections. You will be a part of the Office Services team supporting the various business units that utilize this data capture program. A well organized, self starter with excellent time management skills is essential to efficiently complete the task.

This is a 6 month Fixed Term opportunity, with extended health, dental & vision benefits and paid vacation.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring that all inspections are entered, exported, corrections completed, then email this data to applicable business units personnel by a pre-established time of the day
  • Contributes to the optimal and accurate entry of information relating to driver vehicle inspection reports
  • Correctly process requests for additions, deletions, or modifications for database changes
  • Process and review integrity or validation reports regularly, report any issues and work with supervisor to get them resolved, or identify potential improvement opportunities
  • Communicate with the appropriate department to achieve the completion of daily tasks and special projects
  • Assist in performing audit requests according to company policies and approval levels when requested

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year’s experience working in a data entry role
  • Previous experience in a customer service role
  • Completion of some post-secondary coursework in office administration is an asset
  • Basic computer knowledge including but not limited to MS Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Sense of ownership in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a bias to accuracy
