Job Summary:

Ledcor is looking for an energetic full-time, permanent Document Control Coordinator to join our busy Operations team across the U.S. As Document Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining efficient and effective project-specific document control procedures, as well providing initial and ongoing training to the project teams.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing, implementing, communicating, and maintaining project-specific document control procedures in accordance with organizational and contractual requirements.
  • Assist with the initial configuration and ongoing maintenance of the document storage system based on project requirements. This includes capturing required metadata, setting up workflows and forms, managing user accounts and permissions, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide initial and ongoing document control support and training to project teams. This may extend to external users such as clients, vendors, consultants, and other third parties.
  • Monitor compliance of project-specific document control procedures.
  • Provide recommendations for improved process efficiency.
  • Assist the Document Control Manager on various tasks, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Organized and highly detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • 2+ years in a document control role preferred
  • Experience using an EDMS (Electronic Document Management System), preferably Aconex
  • Experience creating and delivering training content
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and manage high volumes of work
  • Anticipate and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Strong team player
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Construction and/or Telecom industry experience an asset
