Job Summary:

You’re an experienced fitness instructor/personal trainer. You are looking for an unique opportunity to diversify your experience overseeing the fitness needs for a multi-family community.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Texas, we have an opportunity for you in Austin, TX, to manage all aspects of fitness in a multifamily garden style, wrap and podium developments. This position involves leading all group and personal fitness classes + training sessions for the Pearl Apartments.


  • Oversee all aspects of the fitness programing for the community.
  • Execute and draft training plans for residents.
  • Communicate, establish and market fitness classes and one-on-one sessions to building residents.
  • Manage and log all need release paperwork for resident participation waivers.
  • Provide updates to leadership on attendance and feedback from residents.
  • Assist in the retention of residents via a connected fitness community.
  • Maintain, track and report on all budget elements (if needed.)
  • May perform other related duties as assigned.

Business Requirements:

  • 3+ years fitness experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of personal and group fitness activities.  
  • Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate with and understand multiple stakeholders’ needs and physical abilities.
  • Superior communication and a friendly attitude.
  • A track record of building successful teams and promoting teamwork through motivating and coaching.
  • Certified personal trainer.  
  • Willingness and desire to maintain strong relationships within the apartment community and building staff.

  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements
