Job Summary:

You are a Rotary AME Apprentice seeking an opportunity to build your skills and gain experience under the direction of a licensed AME. Supporting the maintenance team in Terrace, you will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all Summit Helicopters aircraft.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance on aircraft or aircraft components as directed
  • Perform all maintenance activities in accordance with the applicable standards of airworthiness
  • Ensure all paperwork for assigned tasks is complete and accurate before submitting
  • Ensure all maintenance alerts and memos are read, understood and complied with
  • Conduct hangar clean-up
  • Assist with sheet metal / avionics repairs as needed

Qualifcations:

  • Must possess Transport Canada AME M Training Diploma
  • Previous hands-on line experience on aircraft in the Summit Helicopters fleet preferred
  • Hold a valid Canadian Passport and possess a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to take direction and learn quickly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as work independently
  • Mechanically inclined, ability to work with your hands
  • Must be fully vaccinated and provide valid COVID-19 vaccination record (unless you have a legitimate recognized medical or religious reason for not getting vaccinated)
