Job Summary:

Are you a driven Helicopter Pilot who continuously looks for opportunities to learn and grow? Summit Helicopters is looking for Pilots for the 2022 Season, with opportunities for full time! We pride ourselves on our fantastic people and well-maintained machines with tidy ops gear. The company may be able to provide a minimun guarantee of days for the right candidate!

If you are an energetic and talented Helicopter Pilot who has mountain flying experience, the Summit Helicopters team wants to speak with you!

Essential Responsibilities:

• Fly safely and efficiently, adhering to all Summit Helicopters policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Current Canadian Helicopter license
• Minimum 2,000 hours total time, 500 hours PIC on type (BH407) required
• Bell 407 endorsement
• Current on type
• Drill move experience required
• Solid mountain-flying habits and bonus points for an approved course, experience with confined landing sites, toe-ins, and coastal weather
• Have proven vertical-reference skills in the mountains. Due to terrain restrictions, we generally use a 150’ line as standard with possible extensions up to 230’, though not too often
• Bell 206 endorsement an asset
• Heli-Ski experience an asset
• Embody a professional, safety-orientated attitude with an eye for efficiency while looking after the interests of the company and client
• Be a team player with a positive, resourceful attitude - who lives and works well with others - but requires minimum supervision.
• Must be fully vaccinated and provide valid COVID-19 vaccination record (unless you have a legitimate recognized medical or religious reason for not getting vaccinated)

   Work Conditions

• This is a seasonal position with opportunities for permanent employment
• Location will vary dependent on operational need
• Flights and accommodation will be provided
• Option for a minimum guarantee of days for the right candidate
