Essential Responsibilities:
Safely and accurately picking up and delivering parts
Perform tasks on the labor crew to support mining operations
Ability to work long hours standing and lift up to 50lbs
Support maintenance crew in equipment service and repairs
Escort delivery trucks and maintain equipment inventory counts
Complete production reporting and other documentation as required
Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Previous mining experience is an asset
Daily routine includes driving a company vehicle so driver's license and clean abstract is a must
Demonstrates an awareness and understanding of mining safety and MSHA policies
Current MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is preferred
Must have valid photo identification
Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Must be able to arrange own accommodations, various options available in Eureka, Ely, or nearby RV parks.
Work Conditions:
Rotation of 5/4, 12-hour day shifts; night shifts are required
Ability to work overtime may be required
Employee benefits package and 401k plan participation offered after 60 days of continuous employment
