Job Summary:

The Quality Program Manager, will support the development, implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) across the Corporate and Project teams across all Ledcor Technical Services (LTS) business units (BU). The Quality Program Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Quality Coordinators in the training, documenting, auditing, and reporting of quality initiatives. The LTS Quality Team will run as a support service to the business in the implementation of quality initiatives on our projects and programs.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development and implementation of the LTS QMS
  • Reviews contracts and client documents to develop accurate lists of construction methods.
  • Provides training and support of quality procedures and tools as defined by the QMS.
  • Provides support to the project team by developing Project Quality Plan (PQP) processes and tools appropriate to the project size and scope.
  • Reports quality review findings, program amendments and recommendations to LTS leadership teams.
  • Supports the project team with reviews on site of PQP processes, effectiveness, and compliance with the LTS QMS.
  • Reviews the overall QMS implementation and completeness.
  • Works in conjunction with HSEQ Managers to establish a QMS Verification schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Five to ten years of related work experience
  • Previous experience in QMSs required, including implementation, training, auditing, and continuous improvement
  • Detailed knowledge of the ISO 9000 series of quality management standards and guidelines (9001 Lead Auditor certification will be considered as an asset)
  • Has technical knowledge of codes and standards, regulatory requirements, modern construction practices, techniques and equipment within the Telecom market
  • Strong computer background including experience with tools described in the applicable quality management systems. Systems leveraged include Microsoft suite, Power BI and other analytics software
  • Strong communication skills, confident interacting with key contacts in verbal, written and electronic form.
  • Identifies problems/issues, looks beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications and generates new solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience with the training and coaching of all employee levels from trades to senior management.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
