Utility Welder- Pipeline

Job Summary:

You are a Journeyperson Welder operating your own rig, with utility welding experience to support us on our Coastal GasLink project. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team helping to maintain the integrity of our heavy equipment and accessories.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the lay out of work
• Read and follow directions in given layouts, blueprints and work orders
• Welds heavy equipment parts as required for job specifications
• Use and operate the welding equipment to fabricate and customize
• General welders helper duties such as grinding, buffing and weld set up

Requirements

• Must possess a Journeyperson Welder holding a valid CWB ticket
• Previous experience welding in a pipeline setting preferred
• Must have a fully rigged truck with a 400 amp machine and air for required gouging
• Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing

Work Conditions:
