Job Summary:

You are an experienced Materials Technician, responsible for the daily flow of material including accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory control. You will ensure the work areas are a safe and clean space. You’re a team player who ensures the well-being of others and lends a hand where needed. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team working on an oilfield tailings and pipeline project. For you, safety and quality are a priority and you are proud of your work at the end of each day.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Verify incoming and outgoing materials
  • Support shipping and receiving activities; including loading and unloading materials
  • Operate forklifts and other light equipment
  • Administer inventory control and order selection
  • Utilize industry practices and an inventory tracking system to record and manage inbound and outbound stock
  • Experience with auditing processes, including process compliance, assets protection, security and quality control


  • 3 years of experience, preferably in a high-volume, industrial environment
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and clear 3-year driver's abstract
  • Experience on light equipment Loader, Zoom Boom and Skid Steer is an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and able to go on/off equipment
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements
  • Successful candidates will require CSTS 2020, CSO or BSO, and Confined Space ticket

Work Conditions:

  • Shift based position working 14 days on /7 days off rotation
  • Working 10-12 hours per day
  • Site based camp provided
  • Travel allowance provided for those that qualify
  • Flights are not provided; would suit locals or candidates residing in western Canada
  • Benefits provided by CLAC
  • Work will involve working outdoors in various weather conditions
