Job Summary:

You are an experienced Red Seal Gasfitter with experience to support us on a potash mine project. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team working in Leroy SK. This is a long-term project which includes the installation of the site’s main distribution networks for natural gas.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates knowledge of industrial piping systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, codes, procedures, and follow safe work practices
• Determine correct piping, equipment, and devices
• Installation, repair and testing / commissioning of gas mains and distribution pipes
• Installation and service of natural gas filling stations
• Test and replace defective equipment or components

Requirements

• Red Seal Gasfitter Certification
• Hold a Saskatchewan Gas Fitter License
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Gas Fitting
• Motivated, self-starter with demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
• CSTS, First Aid, Confined Space, H2S Alive
• Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
• Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
• Must be fully vaccinated and provide valid COVID-19 vaccination record (unless you have a legitimate recognized medical or religious reason for not getting vaccinated)

Work Conditions:

• Experienced applicants that reside in Leroy, SK or surrounding areas will be given preference due to the location of this project
• 14 days on / 7 days off rotational shift, 12-hour work days
• Camp based accommodation provided for non-local candidates
• Travel allowance provided from approved locations
• Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
