Job Summary:

You are a Journeyperson Carpenter with experience in commercial construction projects. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team working in the Winnipeg area on a new build that has a 20-month schedule. We are looking for hardworking, experienced, and energetic people.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Driven to be a part of a growing division in a successful construction company.
  • Safety orientated with a safe work mindset.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for learning the construction industry.
  • Experience in the commercial construction field.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
  • Must have at least 5 years of carpentry experience in commercial construction.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing

Work Conditions

  • Daily shift Monday – Friday, working 8 hours per day
  • Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Benefits provided by CLAC – extended health plan (prescription drugs, dental and other coverage)

Job Description

  • Complete carpentry tasks as directed by the superintendent or foreman on site.
  • Install guard rails for WS&H safety requirements
  • Erect structures as required for heating and hoarding scope
  • Install backing at partition walls
  • Install temporary hoarding including doors for safety and heating requirements
  • Concrete forming as required throughout the project
