Journeyperson Electrician - Pipeline

Job Summary:

You are an experienced Journeyperson Electrician who takes pride in safe and efficient work practices. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical devices and components required on the pipeline right of way.

Responsibilities: 

• Installs, replaces, maintains, and repairs electrical systems for miscellaneous pipeline related support equipment with a large focus on water pumps ranging from 4" to 10"
• Reads and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications
• Splices, joins, and connects wire to form circuits,. Performs testing to ensure integrity and safety

Requirements: 

• Must have a Journeyperson Electrician Ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
• Proven expertise in 240 single phase to 480 3-phase transformers
• Previous experience in an oil and gas setting preferred
• Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing

Work Conditions:

• Camp based accommodation
• Rotational shift
• Outdoor work in various weather conditions
